 Bob along with Dorothy, his wife of 37 years and their sons Richard & Jonathan, has been interactive in the Paper Industry for more than 25 years while living in: Albany, Maine, S.C. and Louisiana.
While working with Albany International for 13 years, Bob was a Department Manager, Plant Manager and Dryer Felt Sales Representative. He left Albany and joined the JWI Group as Southern Sales Manager, for Forming, Pressing and Drying Fabrics. After 10 years, Bob formed Swift Solutions, Inc., a Sales Agency representing: IBS, J&L, Steel Plant, James Ross, Teufelberger, and other manufactures. In 2004 Bob merged SSI with the Williams-Gray Co. Bob has been a active member of TAPPI and attended “Wet End Operating” course and was President, PIMA - Dixie Sales Society in 1997. Bob received his BS from Philadelphia College of Textile & Science and a MBA from NYIT. Military schooling included: TOCS, Harbor Craft Officer’s Course and Armed Forces Staff College. He served as XO 241st Aviation Supply Unit in South Vietnam and subsequently in the NG and Reserves as Company Commander LMT, Bn. S-4, & Gp. Operations Officer ADC. Bob also holds a USCG 100 ton Captains license. |
